Everything the app can do, step by step, and what to try if something looks off.
Find the cat icon near the clock. If it's hidden, press the small ^ arrow first. Right-click it and choose Show cat bubble. Still missing? Choose Reset cat position.
Check the cat isn't grey (off). Press Ctrl + Alt + M. Check the volume slider and your Windows volume. You might be in an app on the quiet list.
Turn on Mic in the recorder panel before you press Record. Then check Windows isn't muting it: Settings > System > Sound > Input. Speak and the bar should move.
Open the dashboard and go to your recordings, then press Show in folder. By default videos are in Videos > Purrclick.
Purrclick is closed. Open Purrclick.exe again, or search "Purrclick" in the Start menu.
Wait a couple of seconds and click again. If it's still quiet, quit Purrclick from the tray and open it again.
Purrclick is already open. Look for the cat near the clock instead of opening it twice.
Each key works on one PC. Email support@purrclick.app with your order email and we'll move it to your new PC.
Download the free trial. Every feature works for 7 days, recorder included.
Click Keep. This shows up for new apps that aren't famous yet.
Click More info, then Run anyway.
That's it. Click Fifi to pick sounds or press Record.
Why the warning? Purrclick is new and made by a small team, so Windows doesn't know it yet. It doesn't change system files and never records what you type. The warning goes away once enough people use it.
