A small Windows app that plays a soft sound for every click, scroll and keystroke, draws a ripple under your cursor, and records your screen with all of that inside the video. Fifi the kitten lives on your desktop and drinks the milk your clicks earn.
If your PC runs Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), yes. Windows 7, 8 and 32-bit Windows aren't supported. The free 7-day trial is the easiest check: if it runs, the paid version will too.
Not yet. Mac is on our list. Chromebooks, iPhones and Android phones can't run it, since they don't let apps hear taps in other apps.
No. Purrclick only wakes up when you click, scroll or type, and sounds are loaded once. While you're recording it uses more, like any screen recorder, and goes back to resting when you press Stop.
Right-click Fifi in your tray and choose Quit. Then delete Purrclick.exe. To remove your settings too, press Win + R, type %APPDATA% and delete the Purrclick folder. Your recordings stay in Videos > Purrclick until you delete them.
No. Recording starts only when you choose a screen or window and press Record. A small bar with a timer shows the whole time, and Stop ends it.
They're saved as .mp4 files in your Videos\Purrclick folder, on your PC only. Purrclick never uploads them anywhere. You can change the folder, or have Purrclick ask every time. All your videos are also listed in the dashboard.
No. Every key plays the exact same sound, so the sounds don't reveal which keys you pressed. They do show when you typed. Anything you type that appears on screen will be visible in the video, like in any screen recording. Keyboard sounds are silent in Windows password boxes, and your microphone stays off unless you turn it on.
No. Purrclick makes the click and typing sounds itself, so they go into the video with PC sound on. A mic is only needed if you want your voice in it.
Most often Windows has the mic muted. Purrclick warns you when it notices this, with a button to open sound settings. You can also check Settings > System > Sound > Input and speak to see the bar move.
Yes. Pick it from the list in the recorder panel instead of Whole screen.
Some video players, streaming sites and apps block screen capture to protect their content. Those parts can come out black. That's expected.
Yes. The ripple shows in any recorder because it's drawn on screen. The sounds show up when your recorder captures PC audio, which OBS and Loom both can.
You are. Only record what you're allowed to, ask people before recording them, and follow the rules of the apps and sites you record. See the screen recording rules.

Click More info, then Run anyway.
That's it. Click Fifi to pick sounds or press Record.
Why the warning? Purrclick is new and made by a small team, so Windows doesn't know it yet. It doesn't change system files and never records what you type. The warning goes away once enough people use it.
